James is a result-oriented and performance-driven Demographer and Social Statistician with expertise in data collection, management, analysis, quality assurance, visualization, research as well as monitoring and evaluation of social, economic development and health programs. He is proficient in designing cut edge methodologies for surveys and research, designing of CAPI for data collection using SurveyCTO, KoboCollect and RedCap for programming of survey instrument with sound reporting skills. He is also versatile in the use of Advance Excel, SPSS, STATA, EPINFO, CSPro, MORTPARK, PowerBi and Atlas.ti for quantitative, qualitative and demographic analysis.
His professional experiences dates back to Department of Demography and Social Statistics, Obafemi Awolowo University – Consortium for Advance Research Training in Africa as a Research Assistant; Action Against Hunger (ACF International) as a Research Officer; and Seven Star Consulting Limited as a Research Lead. James had also worked with academic to produce both local and international journals in the area of fertility, development and reproductive health.
He holds his first and second degrees in Demography and Social Statistics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He also holds certificate in the use of use of National survey data (DHS and MICS). He enjoys meeting new professional acquaintances to share knowledge in the field of data management, social research, monitoring and evaluation as well as population and development.
