Segun Oguntoyinbo is the managing consultant of Hanovia Limited; he is a seasoned healthcare management specialist with vast experience in health system development, primary healthcare (immunization service delivery and epidemiological studies), procurement management, and project supervision development, health human resources development, geographical information system, He is a compendium of knowledge for the health management related issues. He has a master’s degree in microbiology with a diploma in health planning and management. Segun has outstanding leadership skills which has made him to play the role of a leader both in the formal and informal sectors. He has the ability to foster teamwork among other professionals towards achieving joint objectives.
Segun is also widely experienced in managing numerous consultants for the implementation of various development programmes. He has worked with several foreign (notably CEPA, UK, FBA Analysts, UK and Benguela Health, South Africa) and local consultants in the delivery of various consulting assignments, and is familiar with the mandates of government ministries of health and the major development agencies. Segun has been involved in the planning for the institutional re-organisation of Nigeria’s National Programme for Immunisation (NPI) in readiness for merger with the NPHCDA to a single integrated PHC agency delivering immunisation services and other PHC components. A strategic plan and organisation structure was designed for the ‘new’ agency. He was involved in various monitoring and impact assessment studies. These studies include the current end of Project impact assessment study of the HSDPII in the States and Federal. He was also involved in the assessment of the progress towards Project Development Objectives (PDOs) of the HSDPII of all the participating States, and the monitoring of HSDP II activities in the six North East States of Nigeria. Segun is fluent in English Language. Other Languages spoken by Segun are Yoruba and Hausa Languages.
